BELL 407 SERIES

Professional Simulation-Based Training
FlightSafety offers comprehensive simulation-based training on the Bell 407 Series helicopter. Designed to meet the professional training needs of all Bell 407 operators, training is available at our Learning Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Program Highlights

  • Online, instructor-led ground school is available for the Bell 407 through FlightSafety’s LiveLearning. This flexible delivery is ideal for complex training at a distance.
  • We offer Bell 407 instruction on a flight training device (FTD) qualified to Level 7 by the FAA, bringing new realism and cost-effective options to your training. We pioneered and exclusively offer Level 7 training technology.
  • Using our high-fidelity graphics package, our FTD features special visual scenes and effects to give Bell 407 operators the most relevant training available.
  • Scenario-based training includes prevention of CFIT accidents, high-density altitude training, realistic VMC to IMC with deteriorating conditions and confined landing sites.
  • Initial and recurrent training both emphasize skills and strategies essential to surviving inadvertent IMC.
  • Our stand-alone Surviving Inadvertent IMC course gives you the tools you need to react appropriately in the first critical moments when you encounter unexpected weather conditions, as well as successful strategies to ensure that flights conform to plan and don’t exceed pilot or equipment limitations.
