Master Technician – Management

Earn Your Master Technician – Management Certificate

Our progressive curriculum follows a five-step process ensuring that you receive instruction on all the skills necessary to become a Master Technician with a Management focus. Management training provides you with the skills you need to interact effectively with customers, managers and co-workers, preparing you for additional responsibilities or a management position. Some course offerings are in conjunction with Global Jet Services.

To earn your Master Technician – Management medallion and certificate, complete five courses, which include mandatory core courses and electives.

Mandatory Courses

All candidates for Master Technician – Management must complete the following:

  • Aircraft-Specific Initial, Familiarization or Update Course
  • Aviation Interpersonal Maintenance Management (AIMM)

Elective Courses

Choose any three of these courses:

  • FARs for AMTs
  • FAR Part 45 Repair Station Training
  • Human Factors
  • Maintenance Resource Management (MRM)
  • OSHA/EPA Training
  • Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Project Management for the Aviation Professional
  • Some eLearning Courses are also acceptable.  Note that only one can be used as an elective.
