Master Technician – Engine-Specific

Earn Your Master Technician – Engine-Specific Certificate

Our progressive curriculum follows a five-step process ensuring you receive instruction on all the skills necessary to become a Master Technician with an Engine focus. Engine-specific training builds on your proven technical abilities with training in skills that would otherwise take years to acquire – making you even more of an asset to your organization. We conduct engine-specific training for Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney Canada engines.

To earn the Master Technician – Engine-Specific certificate, complete five courses, which include mandatory core courses and electives.

Honeywell

Mandatory Courses

All candidates must complete the following:

  • Line Maintenance Course
  • Engine-Specific Troubleshooting
  • Engine-Specific Intermediate Maintenance

 

Elective Courses

Choose two of these courses.  Additional courses may be available.

  • Aircraft Initial (with specific engine installed)
  • Aircraft Engine Run & Taxi (with specific engine installed)
  • Engine-Specific Borescope
  • Engine-Specific Vibration Analysis/Fan Balancing
  • Engine-Specific Update

Pratt & Whitney Canada

Mandatory Courses

All candidates must complete the following:

  • Engine-Specific Line and Base  Course
  • Engine-Specific Operational Maintenance Procedures
  • Engine Condition Trend Monitoring

 

Elective Courses

Choose two of these courses.  Additional courses may be available.

  • Aircraft Initial (with specific engine installed)
  • Aircraft Engine Run & Taxi (with specific engine installed)
  • Engine-Specific Borescope
  • Hot Section Inspection (HSI) Training Course
  • Exhaust Duct Rotation (EDR)
  • Aircraft-Specific Engine Rigging
