Leadership for Aviation Professionals – Module One

Succeeding with Corporate Leaders and Functions

Perhaps the greatest challenge facing new aviation leaders is the transition in role expectations, scope, and need for successful relationships outside the flight department compared to previous roles.  This course allows attendees to:

  • Identify and meet the challenges facing new Aviation Managers
  • Align with your company’s goals, stakeholders, their expectations, and how your aviation department fits into your company structure
  • Build and maintain effective relationships throughout your organization
  • Communicate Key Performance Indicators to the aviation department to meet overall company expectations
  • Learn to leverage company resources to facilitate aviation department success

Learning Format

This LEAP module is focused on developing specific aviation leadership skills and functions, and includes:

  • A skills self-assessment (remote)
  • client pre-work (remote)
  • highly interactive classroom instruction (3 day on-site event)
  • company-specific special project
  • one-on-one mentorship sessions (remote over 6 months)

Periodic webinars supplement this training to enable attendees to exchange notes, techniques, and issues with other classmates and mentors.

Classroom Only training is also available.

CAM Approved

This course contributes 4 CAM points toward the application to the CAM Exam or recertification.
