International Procedures Training

FlightSafety delivers comprehensive International Procedures training solutions to help improve safety and meet regulatory requirements. Explore our Initial and Recurrent training via online, instructor-led LiveLearning® and simulator LOFT training, available at select Learning Centers.

International Procedures Initial LiveLearning®

This comprehensive 2-day online, instructor-led ground school prepares pilots for International Operations. PBN, RVSM and NAT HLA are covered in-depth. Emphasis is placed on use of modern navigation and flight management systems and the use of commercial flight planning services. Training meets all FAA training requirements for Letters of Authorization (LOAs)/Operation Specification (OPSPECs) for conducting operations in special use airspace. This course is FAA-approved and Transport Canada and ICAO compliant.

Enrollment in this course also includes two complementary International Procedures Regional eLearning courses to be selected by the Customer.

International Procedures Recurrent LiveLearning®

International Procedures Recurrent LiveLearning® re-familiarizes pilots with aspects of International Procedures per FAA and ICAO regulatory and guidance updates. Training covers the most current topics and changes to international flying such as RLatSM, North Atlantic High Level Airspace (NAT HLA), RNP1, and more. This 8.0 hour course is FAA, Transport Canada and ICAO compliant.

International Procedures Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT – Simulator)

This in-center, simulator-based training provides pilots with the opportunity to experience a realistic international flight scenario with special emphasis on flight planning and contingency procedures. Choose from one of five areas on which to focus your training: Atlantic, Europe, Pacifc, Latin America and Polar Operations. Additional training customization is available to meet your specific operational needs.

By the end of this course, pilots will be able to apply the procedures and knowledge required to safely and accurately operate in oceanic and other international airspace, while complying with both international and regional aviation regulations. Additional training customization is available to meet your specific operational needs. International Procedures LOFT is available at select Learning Centers.
